The national bus carrier, Bus Éireann, services all cities, towns and villages throughout Ireland. Numerous services run from both Tralee (30 miles from Dingle Town) and Killarney (40 miles from Dingle Town) on a daily basis.

Iarnróid Éireann (Irish Railways)

Ireland's entire railroad network is owned and operated by the government sponsored Iarnróid Éireann. There are express services between all the major towns and cities throughout Ireland. The closest railway stations to Dingle Town are located in Tralee (30 miles from Dingle Town) and Killarney (40 miles from Dingle Town). Unfortunately, there has been no train service to Dingle since the steam-powered train that used to service the town was decommisioned in 1953. However, bus transfers to Dingle Town are easy since the rail and bus stations in both of these towns are housed in the same location.
