"Angela served up the finest breakfast with an excellent selection of options. The home is easy to find and just minutes from spectacular shoreline, ancient history, and the harbor in Dingle. The view is great as well. Outside of the bathroom being quite small, this was a great place to stay and would make a good base of operations for the Dingle peninsula as it is close to the intersections of all the major Dingle roads. Angela made us feel welcome and valued as guests. Ask her for local travel tips as well."

"What a wonderful B&B. Our hostess was so accommodating, worrying about us all the time, "were ye warm enough? did ye have enough to eat? can I get anything more for ye?". We loved her and felt like we all came back to an "Aunt's" house in Ireland. It was simply grand! We would go back in a heartbeat. Sharon and Earl Lilley"

"The staff could not have been nicer. The room was clean and simple but comfortably furnished. The B&B has a nice relaxation room and terrace, which was great for meeting other guests and comparing travel stories. The breakfasts were stellar. The owner even offered a ride into town when I did not feel like driving to the pub. They made me feel like a long lost relative. Highly recommended!"

"My parents had told me over and over that if I ever got to Ireland not to miss Dingle! And be certain to stay with Angela at The Cill Bhreac House. They had been several times before. My older sister had been and said the same. Last year I finally made it! A close friend and I went to Dingle. We hadnt spent 10 minutes there with Angela before we felt right at home. What a doll !!! They were so nice to us.
The accommodations were very clean, charming, quiet, and the breakfast was wonderful. Angela pretty much does it all. She is very serious about her establishment and it shows. I have sent 3 families to stay there since and they all loved it!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our visit in Dingle, thanks to Angela and Marion. Angela is the perfect hostess...concerned and helpful but not intrusive. She brings the amenities of a hotel to her B&B but still keeps everything personable. And she really enjoys her guests - a true "people" person."
"All in all, a wonderful B&B experience."

TripAdvisor.com Title:           "Great Stay"

Reviewer:   Ohtravelpeeps, Ohio, USA
"A warm welcome by Angela's husband as we arrived a bit early in the day, but no problem. Angela was home about 20 mins later and even came up and knocked on our door to say hello, and to welcome us. Cill Bhreac is a wonderful B&B. Sits up on a hill outside of Dingle town. A beautiful view of the bay from the sitting room upstairs (equipped with a telescope even!) And a wonderful view of the hills out of our bedroom window in the back of the house."
"This B&B was in the most scenic location of any that we stayed in during our 2 week trip....great location to drive the penninsula, and the Conner Pass (stunning). Great breakfast...especially the banana pancakes (Yum). As always.....more than enough food to get you past lunchtime even. If we ever make it to Dingle again, this will be our spot."

"Cill Bhreac house is in a great location; close enough to Dingle to enjoy the town itself, and with easy access to the rest of the peninsula. Angela is a wonderful hostess, very pleasant and willing to help plan adventures. The room was well appointed, the ensuite bath was spacious, and the upstairs sitting room was a bonus for guests! The view from our window was incredible. And the breakfasts - wow!"
"Highly recommend staying here and we'll be back."

"Quite possibly the nicest and most enjoyable moderately priced B&B we have encountered. Very nice, very clean, modestly decorated rooms and really excellent breakfast selections. View of Dingle Bay from rooms in the front are incredible, and views from the rear are still very, very nice. Walkable to Dingle shops and pubs for the energetic, but even if you have to drive a mile and park the views and atmosphere make this a better choice than in the middle of town."
"Don't miss Dingle on a trip to Ireland."

"We had the most lovely hosts and wonderful breakfasts. The charming little dog Holly was very sweet. The rooms were very clean."
"There is a nice room to lounge complete with refrigerator for your Guinness. The hostess even gave us a ride to town when we knew we didn't want to drive."
"The price was just right for the lovely accomodations."

"Angela is a wonderful host at this B&B, and the view overlooking the Dingle Peninsula is incredible. She was warm & welcoming when we arrived and was quick to offer us recommendations on restaurants in Dingle for dinner."
"Breakfast offered an incredible selection including yogurts, fruit, eggs, porridge, and pancakes."
"The rooms are large and clean, linens & towels fresh, and each room is complete with private bathroom as well. Additionally, there is free wireless to use - and you can use it from anywhere in the house including the sitting room where you can sometimes see Fungie swimming in the bay. Additionally, the sitting room has a refrigerator to store anything personal you need to refrigerate and makes a good room to hang out in and look at the view from the telescope."

"We visited Angela's Bed & Breakfast this past August (2007) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! You couldn't ask for a more friendly welcoming host; even when she conversed with my surly grandmother, she was very warm and pleasant."
"Located on the edge of Dingle with a nice view of the bay, we enjoyed the convenience of this B&B. We were minutes from the restaurants and pubs and were able to enjoy the night in town, but return to our quiet rooms away from the noise at the end of the night."
"Waking up to Angela's wonderful breakfast and homemade bread was the best and I can't wait to return!"
"Make sure you see my pictures!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this B&B. The location is just fantastic and we had a gorgeous room (spotless might I add) that overlooked Dingle Bay. From the upstairs balcony lounge we could even see fungi the dolphin out in the bay through the telescope! Breakfast was a feast compared to other B&Bs that we stayed at on our trip. All in all we'd a lovely stay and would highly recommend it to others."

"It was our first stay at Ireland and the Cill Bhreac House was the ideal choice. Angela's warm hospitality, the excellent breakfast (taste the pancakes!) and our clean room made us feel like home. The house is located ideally on the Dingle Peninsula, which is in our opinion even more beautiful than the world-famous Ring of Kerry. It can be reached easily by car from Kerry Airport within one hour."

"Our family of five spent two nights at Cill Bhreac in Dingle and had a fine experience. This is a cozy, family style bed & breakfast with a pretty garden. The beds were comfortable and warm, the breakfast was bountiful, and the scenery was awesome. Literally. The views from front and back were breathtaking. (Check out the posted photos.)"
"Angela has an assistant who helps in the morning and she was most kind to us. (I’m sorry I can’t recall her name.) The breakfast was tasty and the coffee was the best we had on our whole trip. They introduced me to the value of a French press coffeemaker."

"A gem of a B&B in an idyllic location overlooking Dingle Harbor. Angela made us and all her other guests feel so welcome. Her Oatmeal Porridge with Baileys Liquor and Brown Sugar certainly got our days in Dingle off to the right start. We will be back!"

TripAdvisor.com Title:           "Great Place - View, Hostess, Gourmet Breakfast"

Reviewer:   TomSanDiego1, San Diego
"The beds were great - thick quilts too - and Angela is a marvelous hostess. Was a group of Archelogy grad students there - and their professor - and they loved it. Choice of gourmet full traditional Irish BK, or pancakes with Bananas (more like crepes really), Smoked Scottish Salmon with eggs, etc."
Great views of the town and harbour on one side, or the green hills on the others. Very reasonable - and probably as good of a value as you will find in Ireland, or for that matter, the UK."
Can't wait to get back - Dingle peninsula is fantastic, people are friendly, pubs are fun, food is great - especially the very fresh seafood, great history, etc. etc. etc."

"We stayed for 3 nights in February with my husband's parents. Angela was very accomodating, and the rooms were very nice, all having beautiful views of either the bay or the fields and mountains behind the house. The cooked-to-order breakfast was fantastic and a great way to start the day. I would stay there again and highly recommend it to others, especially if you have a car."

"We were more than happy with our stay at Angela McCarthy's house. Our room was at the front with views to die for over the bay. Our room was comfortable, clean and cosy with all the normal things you take for granted like tea and coffee, hair drier etc. I'm sure if there was something in particular that you wanted Angela would go out of her way to oblige, she is that kind of hostess. Breakfast was wonderful and even though we drove into town it would not be that far to take a taxi there are back if needed and I'm sure that you will get a better nights sleep at Cill Bhreac than in the middle of Dingle town."

"I stayed here with my mother, father and sister for two nights in May, 2005. Angela, our hostess, was phenomenal - she definitely went above and beyond the call of duty! We arrived quite late on our first night (about 1 a.m.!) and Angela stayed up to let us in. In true Irish fashion, she was bright-eyed and bubbly the next morning. Additionally, I had a refrigerated medication to bring along with me, and Angela happily accomodated my need. "
"Breakfast in the morning was wonderful - of course! The dining room was roomy and cozy at the same time."
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't thank Angela enough for all the little things she did to go out of her way to make us comfortable."

"What an excellent B&B! The breakfast is fantastic - choose from a menu of at least nearly half a dozen dishes (pancakes, various types of egg dishes) cooked to order while you enjoy coffee, tea, juice, cereals, yogurt, etc. I loved the eggs with smoked Dingle salmon. The rooms have excellent views - either the bay or the valley and mountains."

"We stayed for two nights here and they were just great. Our hostess, Angela, was very helpful with both information on the area and making sure our stay was great. My daughter and son-in-law had stayed at this B&B two years before and they recommended it to us. We had a room with a fantastic view out toward the bay and the morning we left we looked out to see cows going down the road quided by a dog. The food was great and was cooked to our liking. I would definitely go back here on my next trip. The drive around Slea Head and then over Conner pass is not to be missed. Also take a stroll down the streets of Dingle to get a feel of the real Ireland hospitality. Thanks Angela for mailing our postcards home for us."

"We just recently returned from our first trip to Ireland. The Cill Bhreac House was wonderful! Our hostess, Angela, was terrific. The room was very nice and accommodated our family of four. We had a huge picture window with a fantastic view of Dingle Bay! I still can't believe the incredible view! The B&B had a variety of sitting areas for guests use. A reading room upstairs with the same gorgeous view, and a small, atrium area which was very pretty. The breakfast was grand! One of the most delicious of all our stays! We were located just a short drive into town and Angela recommended a great pub which was having an Irish music session that evening. My husband (a fiddle player) and son (bohdran) were able to join right in. Angela was there as well! What a delightful hostess! We absolutely loved her and the Cill Bhreac House, and will definitely return on our next trip! THANKS!!"

"My wife and I stayed at Cill Bhreac House during our honeymoon to Ireland (November 30, 2004) and was astounded at how charming and warm it was. We actually stayed there on the last night of the season and enjoyed Angela's warm fire, hospitality and bay view room. I kept the window cracked all night and could hear the fishing boats slipping into the harbor along with the smell of fireplaces all over town. In the morning we awoke to fog rolling in over the bay, banana pancakes, scrambled eggs and fresh Dingle Bay salmon for breakfast. We can't wait to return!"

"If you're traveling to Dingle -- I would recommend the Cill Bhreac -- we called in the morning to book & Mrs. McCarthy was able to accomodate in a room overlooking the harbor - fantastic view! It's actually in Milltown -- west of Dingle -- but only a ten minute walk into town. Enjoy the drive into Dingle, it's among the best in Ireland. Good seafood at the Waterside Inn & drink with the locals at O'Flaherty's Pub -- also heard that Murphy's has good trad music."
