Every week we have guests departing our home who regret not staying longer in Dingle. Our home is perched on the crest of a hill which gives us expansive panoramic views over Dingle Bay. For more information please see the ‘Location’ page on our website.

Property / General FAQs

Yes we do – Cill Bhreac House is where we are fortunate to call our ‘home’? Cill Bhreac House was originally started by Ronan’s parents, Angela and John, in 1989. John, a carpenter by trade, actually built the original house. Ronan and his wife Orla then officially took over the running of the family business in 2015.

While we do not provide an on-site laundry service, there is a great serviced laundry in Dingle town called Dingle Cleaners (Web: https://www.dinglecleaners.com, Phone: +353 66 9150680). Normally if you leave your laundry with them in the morning, they will have it ready for collection in the afternoon. Dingle FAQs

Dingle has established itself as one of the top foodie and fine dining towns in Ireland with an abundance of great options to choose from. We are spoilt with freshly caught seafood, mountain grazed lamb, grass feed beef, locally produced cheeses, home grown seasonal vegetables and herbs, etc. It really is no surprise that Dingle was voted No. 1 Foodie Town in Ireland. On check-in you can advise us of your dining preferences and we will gladly tailor some recommendations to suit. We are happy to assist you in making reservations too if you so wish.

If you have your heart set on a particular restaurant for a particular date / time, then yes it would be advisable to reserve a table before arriving in Dingle. Otherwise, with such a variety of great restaurants to choose from you should be able to get a table on the day. On check-in we are happy to provide you with recommendations based on your preferences and will gladly assist you in making reservations too if you so wish.

Dingle has a vibrant social scene with bustling pubs that offer up live Irish music seven nights a week – good ole Irish ‘craic’ is 100% guaranteed. It is also the only town in Ireland where you will have the fun opportunity to witness a Dingle native and five time world champion Irish dancer mesmerising onlookers with his fancy footwork.

You have the music, you have the dancing, and you have the drink (including the locally produced Dingle Gin and Dingle Whiskey) but part of the lure of Dingle’s nightlife it that is delightfully dominated by old traditional venues, handed down from generation to generation. These establishments still carry the enchanting memories and traditions of the generations gone before us – listen carefully and you will be sure to hear the latest generation of locals fondly reciting the stories and tales of their elders.

On check-in we’ll tailor specific recommendations to suit your evening / night time preferences.
